MC Petrohué

The MC Petrohué is a compact, reliable, and easy-to-operate ROV designed by Marine Connection for underwater work at depths of up to 250 meters. Its lightweight structure makes it easy to transport and deploy, while its propulsion system offers precise and safe maneuverability, even in demanding conditions.
Backed by Marine Connection's local technical service, the MC Petrohué ensures continuity and confidence in every operation, making it the perfect choice for those looking to get started or strengthen their work in underwater robotics.
Stainless Steel Version

MC Petrohué Inox
The MC Petrohué is available in two chassis versions , both maintaining exactly the same performance and capabilities as the standard model:
-
The version made of ultra-high-density (UHMW) plastic is lightweight, durable, and easy to handle.
-
The stainless steel version, designed for customers requiring a higher level of strength and durability, is especially suited for intensive operations (high currents) or highly corrosive environments.
Retaining their modular, compact, and easy-to-operate design, both versions offer all the reliability of the Petrohué, differing only in the chassis material. This allows users to choose between the versatility and practicality of UHMW or the robustness and long service life of stainless steel, depending on the working conditions and the demands of each operation.

Uses of the MC Petrohué
The MC Petrohué is designed to perform a wide range of critical tasks in subsea environments , combining reliability and operational versatility. Its main features are:
-
Underwater inspections of structures such as aquaculture cages, moorings, pipes, docks, vessels, anchor lines and hulls.
-
Removal of shipwreck debris and objects, supporting recovery maneuvers and cleaning of the seabed.
-
Cleaning of structures and the seabed, using integrated tools that allow the clearing of sediments and obstructions.
-
Precision laser measurements, ideal for assessing damage, objects or submerged structures.
-
Cutting operations, using tools such as discs or clamps to cut ropes, cables, chains or other items underwater.
-
Environmental monitoring, with audiovisual recording, sediment control and collection of technical information.
